Do you know the true meaning of Halloween?
***Trigger Warning***
Halloween is one of the two highest “unholy” days in Satanism, whose adherents sacrifice both animals and humans during October and especially during the Halloween season, from October 13 to November 4.
Halloween is also the most important day in Wicca (witchcraft). It is the day on which witches believe they have the most power. The term Wicca derives from an Indo-European root meaning “to bend or twist or warp.” So, a witch would be a person skilled in the craft of shaping, bending, or changing reality.
Covens of modern‑day Druids and witches engage in sorcery, magic and other occult practices. They use divination, meditation, and various rituals to contact the dead. They also have regular contact with a hierarchy of spiritual advisors who live on a different plane of consciousness. They believe that these spirits inhabit the divinations. We would call these advisors demons or spirit guides.
Sacrifices Required
During the Halloween window, blood sacrifices are required. These may be animal or human, depending on the group. In some occult cults, babies are actually conceived within the group for the purpose of sacrifice. If a cult child is not available, they will steal a child, often an illegal or a runaway, or buy a child on the black market.
Infants make the perfect sacrifice. They represent the Christ Child, whom they are blaspheming and symbolically destroying in the brutal torture and slaying of the child. After the death of the child, members will eat a portion of the child’s heart and drink its blood.
Satanists use these perverted necromancy rituals to contact spirits of the dead. After the sacrifice, the group may move to a cemetery or mortuary where victims enact a ritual “embracing of death.”
Don’t Forget: The Spirit World is REAL
Most Americans look only at the material, forgetting there is a spiritual world. If a home looks safe for trick-or-treating, they happily let their young children receive candy from nice people. They even say “thank you.” But if the residents have placed a curse on the candy, we aren’t aware of the unseen power. What we don’t consider is that in the spirit world, acceptance equals consent. When the child receives the candy and says “thank you,” they agree to accept whatever “gift” they are given. The “gift” may not activate for days, weeks, or even years. But when it does, no one can figure out what happened.
What does God say?
“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12
Galatians 5:19 identifies witchcraft as an act of the sinful nature.
Bottom Line:
- There are no “good” witches. God condemns all forms of witchcraft.
- There is no “good” divination. God condemns it.
- There are no harmless spells. God condemns them.
- There are no harmless attempts to contact the dead. That’s not who you’re contacting.
- There are no harmless rituals. They all invite demons into your life.
- Consent equals acceptance.
For a Christian to celebrate Halloween makes as much sense as for a witch or warlock to celebrate Resurrection Day. Let them have their day but stay away and keep your children safe.
This is not fear. It’s wisdom. It’s using your sound mind God gave you. It’s protecting your kids and yourself.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
2 Timothy 1:7
but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
It’s honoring the Lord God and none other.
“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.”
Exodus 20:2-6
