Caregivers and the Church
Every aspect of the oak declares the goodness and care of God. I stand in awe of aging oaks, bruised and broken by the storms of life, yet still standing. Still embracing. Still nurturing. Our population is aging, which presents both a challenge and opportunity for Christians and for the church. Many of us are or have been in what’s known as the Sandwich Generation, caring for both children and aging parents. As our children leave home, we find ourselves aging and parenting “kidults.” And still caring for aging parents. And then we age, becoming bruised and broken ourselves. The church has historically played a critical role in caring for the elderly. And now, more than ever, the church must again provide support for those in their golden years.

We offer resources to assist both churches and individual caregivers serve with compassion, wisdom, and knowledge.
